I've been in retail over 25 years, more than 10 as a General Manager in big box stores. Growing up, I struggled with self esteem. When I started working for a company that carried the latest fashion trends in apparel, jewelry, handbags, shoes, accessories, home and make up, and learned how all these popular name brands got started, it was very intriguing to me. Because fashion is history, It's someone's passion for textures, medals, fabrics, and putting their vision together to make a work of art. It helped me to see myself in a more positive light. I love seeing people excited when they look in the mirror and love what they see or fall in love with a scent they can't live without. It's that pair of jeans that fits just right, the perfect dress, that one pair of shoes, that perfect handbag for date night, that t-shirt that makes a statement. People should feel good about themselves and I love being in a career that gets to watch that unfold. But I wanted to play an even bigger part in all of that so having the opportunity to own Cloth & Steele, is a dream come true.
